Sensory Seating Supports

Everything you need for classroom calming corners and for individual students.

Students are most successful with seat work when they are in a position of stability and their sensory needs are being met.

Sensory Seating Supports

The perfect solution for alternative seating. These chair feet fit on most standard school chairs. They provide just the right amount of controlled movement for students who need it. These are my number one pick for classroom seating support.

A lot of classrooms already have these. That's because they work. You can order them in 4 different heights to accommodate taller or smaller kids. They are quiet, they fit under desks and they provide just the right amount of wiggle.

Another great product from Bouncy Band. This is a swivel wiggle seat that sits on the seat of a chair. It only allows 120 degrees of rotation so kids can't get out of control when using it. I like this for older students who need the movement but don't want to stand out.

Pretty sure that this original "peapod". These are good for self regulation (both preventative and in the moment). I think that they are also an option for seating for students who aren't yet able to sit for whole group instruction.

This vibrating dog is soft and light. The vibration mechanism is in the middle so it sits on the back of the neck. This is a good calming tool for some students.

This indoor/outdoor rocker is something I have found useful with students who benefit from more controlled movement than spinning chairs provide. They are small so better for smaller kids (PK - 3) classrooms.
